We are in some sort of lull I think. Not clear yet what exactly we should do... when the time comes (and I am afraid it will) I hope we take the South Koreans as an example of what saving a democracy requires. Trump is not beyond trying such things and we need to be prepared for that.

Yesterday two young people came to my door, they wanted to point out my sinful ways and let me know about eternal life. Neither looked old enough to shave, what could they tell me about sin, much less eternity. But I gave them credit for trying and ultimately sent them on their way.

I had to reflect on my reaction to the news about the United Healthcare CEO being gunned in the street. Somehow I can't shake the feeling that justice was done. I have no sympathy for the dead man. It's not something I have seen in myself before. And at the moment I don't feel bad about that.
