tbh I don't think many of them actually care about queer women or lesbians at all I think they're homophobic and use lesbians as a shield while pushing their rhetoric it's easy for them to reconcile these ideas because in their minds, lesbian relationships don't really count

in fact, they will promote het ships while hurling antigay slurs at male characters who are gay or perceived as gay, as well as at fans of gay characters and mlm ships they make it abundantly clear they are homophobic

it's not about supporting or promoting wlw ships, and you can tell because they never do that they complain endlessly about canon wlw pairings/shows, bite your head off if you ship a fanon wlw ship, and never lash out when a het ship becomes canon, only when an mlm ship is canon or popular fanon
