watching Heated Rivalry and... it's not BAD... culturally/politically it's a big deal to have explicit gay sex and romance on screen in something like this I guess... I like the friends I'm watching with... I am trying to say nice things here and I'm not like mad at it... oh my God I'm SO BORED

This is exactly how I felt in regards to Ian and Mickey in Shameless. Everyone loved them, but they were so incredibly abusive and nasty towards one another. I don’t get what people see in that kind of relationship dynamic.
