I've also seen a few comments saying they're unfathomably friendly and affectionate animals. Of course they are. A creature that looks like that possesses more understanding of genuine love and affection in just one of its ridiculous ears than we have in our entire bodies.

Every time I show someone these things they refuse to believe they're real, and I get it. I don't believe it either. It all feels like one big joke that even the goats themselves are in on. Look at this one. They're mocking us. "I bet you think I do shit like this don't you. Well I do."

I saw someone point out that when folks like this say "life-changing" what they mean is "moving to a new economic class". And it's true, it won't do that; but it can still life-changing in other, quite meaningful ways if you care about stuff other than your economic class (which you should).

For the record, no, that's not how permanent income hypothesis works either. It's important to remember that bloodless quants don't know about economics either. Not even entry level stuff.
