Sorry, I checked again; he called her a fucking cunt. I think her treating their relationship as transactional was a pretty reasonable response to how he introduced it to her. Though it seems like she doesn't have a good idea of what a healthy relationship even is right now.

This is an odd reading of the comic to me. Did Peter not specifically stalk her and wait until she was vulnerable and desperate, and then come to her and demand painful sex in exchange for what she was desperate for? And then call her a bitch when she realized how bad he had hurt her and ended it?

It's a choice (a bad one) to tell readers this driver "passed too close to cyclists" when there's video evidence showing he drove his car into them, made contact and hurt someone. Fellow journalists: we can explore the nuances of punishment for drivers without obfuscating their dangerous behavior.
