While the plot is kinda tropey and the audience surrogate character is bland as hell, I do always find myself charmed by the world-building and characters here. Ron Perlman as Hellboy is up there with the best castings for comic book adaptations. Take a listen!

Underrated in the comic book adaptations cannon, as well as the annals of bisexual cinema! Francis Lawrence also an under-appreciated director who brought a lot of style to this film. I love it, take a listen!
