Speaking of animated artistry, just got back from seeing The Tale of the Princess Kaguya in the cinema. Even more beautiful and heartbreaking than when I saw it 10 years ago. It’s a treasure to have such a gorgeous film from Takahata so late in his life.

Beware the Mushrooms of the Forest ► Super Mario RPG I re-recorded the layers of Yoko Shimomura’s original arrangement using Arturia’s Mellotron. Then added some bass, drums, guitars, and this is the result. 🎧 #musicsky #musiciansky #mario #retrogaming youtu.be/zelcW11Yp2M
