I really enjoyed @annaleen.bsky.social ‘s book A Wall is Also a Road. Not dark academia but… moist academia? my favorite parts about the slime mold aliens are: 1) they sprout more eyestalks when they’re interested 2) they leave rooms by yeeting themselves out windows which I imagine looks like:
