After a little more than three years, I finally finished the 14-season, 357-episode run of DALLAS. At times it was sensational (the "Who Shot J.R.?" cliffhanger is still Mt. Rushmore-level stuff), and at times it was awful (pretty much all of Season 14), but it was never not entertaining.

Book buyer’s disease, the stages: 1. Find a batch of books in a charity shop from a crime writer I haven’t read 2. Think ‘I should buy one and see if I like it’ 3. Notice they are 4 for £1 4. Think ‘What if I really like the first book?’ 5. Buy 16 books

Had a lot of fun watching Val Kilmer movies for @projectionbooth.bsky.social's Val-Halla series. Enjoyed reading his memoir too - came across as such an out-there, heart-on-his-sleeve goofball. My heart goes out to loved or loathed ones whom his temperament hurt, but man he made some movies thanks
