Ah, I didn’t know that. I’m getting better at finding Heliophanus, so hopefully I can transfer that to other species and by weight of numbers find a fully adult male!

Show PostFab photo! They really are lovely. The only photos I have are of one with his front legs held straight out to the sides and I didn't think it would work on the bookmark - maybe I should do a line of three of them in a row!
Show PostWork in progress. Been drawing Jumping Spiders last few days and I now have enough to make bookmarks! Salticids are my favourite spiders, they were the 'gateway' species that helped me overcome childhood 'fear' of spiders. #arachnids #spiders #invertebrates #Arachtober
