Great news for nature! The Scottish Government has refused plans for a golf course on Coul Links that would have irreparably damaged this precious place.  Thank you to the tens of thousands of you who spoke up to save Coul Links. Your voices made a difference.

Today, The Scottish Government announced that they have REFUSED plans to develop a golf course at Coul Links in Sutherland. This fragile landscape is home to some of our rarest and most threatened wildlife, so this a huge win for nature! 1/3

When walking through The Meadows #Edinburgh I always check out tree stumps and logs. Yesterday I spotted this Tripe Fungus, Auricularia mesenterica. Only seen once before in St Cuthbert's Kirkyard for #CemeteryWildlifeWatch #FungiFriends

ORCAS!!! We spent a wet and windy afternoon watching a pod of six Orcas from the shore between Trondra and Burra, Shetland. The pod were very active with lots of spy-hops, belly rolls and tail lobs. Magical! #MarineLife #MarineMammals #UKWildlife
