so i've been thinking of my own work in the same way! rather than thinking all the marketing is purely to achieve a certain goal for the project (tho it's good to have one), i just want to see how far it can get if i really market it properly, and if it doesn't then at least i've tried.

there are some marketing efforts we do that don't necessarily delivery sales or monetary results, but my colleagues have said that some projects just move slower. still, the marketing showcases our creators' works and imo, upholds our promise to give their work a voice (and a chance)

i've been working on marketing for my game a lot the past month (trailer, setting up pages, planning, etc.) and while i can't wait to get back to working on the actual game, i think i have a different perspective on marketing my work now that i do it for my dayjob too
