I’m the villain in my family for no longer wanting to be the punching bag and “go along to get along” but fortunately I don’t have to hear about it anymore. NC is not easy by any means, it’s a last resort, and they need to be focusing on everything that led up to it.

The people who clutch their pearls about this are also the same people who get upset about women divorcing their abusive husbands. Abusers are scared of losing their control. Children and spouses, are seen as property by far too many.
