We have shown them the evidence that the values they hold don’t align with Republican ideals/policies but they cannot hear it. For example, they refuse to believe that Republicans are anti-LGBT, while they themselves are pro-anyone doing what they want with their lives.

My generation of kids is like 2 liberals 1 person who votes only on one issue, anti-abortion. Idk how she’ll vote now. 1 apathetic (liberal but doesn’t vote but lives in NY so it doesn’t matter) 1 narcissist who is probably liberal b/c it gets her more positive attention but probably doesn’t vote.

The generation under us comprises 6 kids, all liberal, 5/6 old enough to vote now and politically attuned. This is what I mean when I say Alabama is purple and what you see in elections is tied to voter suppression/gerrymandering.
