Maybe i’m being too nitpicky. The pack is still good in the end I just think it lost a bit of charm by removing those little details. Looks a bit more painterly like classic faithful now that I think abt it so maybe that was the goal

Now leaves are just following the 16x16 textures’ shapes. And also, log side textures actually looked like bark, it and stone were grainy and used a bit of dithering to convey their materials. Now all the textures look to be the same plastic-y nature imo

I know that it’s just— idk how to explain it but at one point the oak leaves actually resembled oak leaves, and it was the same for other leaves. It’s those kinds of detailed that I loved about the new faithful because it really made it look like Minecraft always had 32x32 textures
