this is one of the most obvious points of common struggle among cis and trans women so it's bonkers to me that this author seems to think informed consent models are so terrible. I can't imagine they have consistent or good opinions about trans healthcare.

The concerted effort has been to roll back (at minimum) to the trans healthcare of 40-50 years ago, and make informed consent virtually illegal. HRT for all should be available over the counter to all who need it.
