Quieter last night but nice to see Figure of Eight and made a retrospective ID of what I think is Mecyna asinalis (Madder or Coastal Pearl) from a couple of nights ago. Appears to be only 1 previous record from #vc50 but just 2km across the valley from us, in 2022. #teammoth

A nice mix of autumnal moths last night with 64 of 16 species, including 2 Merveille du Jour, Barred Sallow and Feathered Thorn all NFY. Still several late Large Yellow Underwings and a Brimstone about too. #teammoth #vc50

One of my favourite cabbages (if you know what I mean). Sea Rocket (Cakile maritima) on the shore at Deganwy #wildflowerhour

This smart Merveille du Jour was sitting on top of the moth trap when I checked just now - first of the year here and we don’t get many. #teammoth #vc50
