Punks for Progress was definitely not a traditional campaign event, but maybe “tradition” doesn’t matter. Maybe the way we’ve been doing things isn’t inherently the right way. Thank you for building a new type of politics with us.

I know quite a bit about the conservative complaints here (post-Ferguson/Floyd museums adding more apologetic racial language in exhibits) but the Af-Am museum does exactly what she says. You start w slavery and end with Obama/Af-Am success!

The purpose of academic freedom is not to allow faculty to live cushy lives free from criticism or constraint. Its purpose is to allow them to investigate widely and report (or criticize) the results openly, instead of allowing politicians to decide what is true and what is not.
