If it's just me though, it's more keeping her from getting knocked over instead of parting the crowd. I'm not that big or intimidating. My mom has no problem cursing people out for it, though. So she does manage to scare some apologies out of rude people not paying attention to their surroundings.

So true! My mom used a scooter for a while (it broke so I have to replace it since the insurance won't issue a new one), and the way people rush to cut in front of her is so frustrating! When we go to concerts and amusement parks with my brother, he will often stand between Mom and incoming peeps.

Exactly this!!! Also, the micro-aggresions that they face. If I'm there, they talk around my mom as if she can't deal with her own medical issues. Her issues are mostly physical, talk to her! She's right there!!!! The way I almost caught a felony with the cunt at the window. Pissed me off!
