Show Postas a data point on size, the board that gets the most consistent use in my house is a giant bamboo one from Ikea. It's like 36 x 40" but only about 1" thick, and with a lip on one side so it can hang over the edge of the counter. I have thought of buying a bunch to use as blanks for other projects
