I’m drunk so take this FWIW but going to England sight unseen 22 yrs ago for an Everton match & linking up w/ some locals who were confused why I was there but still wouldn’t let me pay for a beer & who I still see when I come over for a match 22 years later remains a top-3 decision I’ve ever made.
