Several people have suggested letting the computer read the book aloud for me but I am pretty sure that would be a deeply soul-crushing experience and also I don’t think it would be able to do all the jokes

One of my tasks for today is going through book proofs which involves reading the whole thing aloud to make sure nothing sounds off. At the end of the day I will be hoarse from talking all day and driven slightly mad from doing it in a quiet room all by myself 🙃

Having now read through my entire book aloud to an empty room I have concluded that (1) it is pretty good if I do say so myself and (2) although the target audience is people with no prior physics education, this book would have SAVED MY LIFE if I’d read it when first starting physics in college.
