I didn't know what to say about the Jacob Geller news, I got completely paralyzed doomscrolling comments last night. I really hope the online tabloid industrial complex doesn't do anything that disrupts the victim horribly.

Well, this ended up more of an experiment with media than anything else, but to be fair, that was what I intended when I started. I don't know how I feel about the finished result as a whole, but I like a lot of the textures, and I learned a little more about what works for me and what doesn't.

I ended up experimenting a lot with this one, pouring layers of ink washes over the watercolor and building up with pastels. I'm trying to get a look that is soft and textured but still has clear strong details in places. I haven't gotten it down yet quite the way I want, but this is a step closer!
