New Castlevania dropped last night, and I've already racked up six hours. Quick thoughts: Visually excellent, there is so little music and it gets old quick, shit is balls hard, and lastly not a complaint but it is VERY apparent you are playing more of a Hollow Knight in Dead Cells engine (same dev)

Tell me this doesn't lowkey feel like a Dead Cells level / screenshot

Also this just made me remember how much Dead Cells rules and I haven't touched it in like 7 years or whatever when it was unfinished and now I just want to reinstall, and there was a whole ass Castlevania DLC for it before this was a thing!

I guess to elaborate on that last part since I hit the char limit - if you're looking for more of a Symphony of the Dawn of Portrait of the Moon or Whatever in terms of gameplay, you might be out of luck. This has some Soulsy elements. I wish it didn't, but I am still certainly enjoying my time.
