There's plenty of good parts. Bill Skarsgard is every bit as good here as he was in the movies, end of episode 1 remains an absolutely terrific bait and switch. Episode 5 has a well done "penny dropping" bit as well towards the end. It just also does everything I think an adaption of It shouldn't do

Definitely an Odd Thomas story. (NB: I have read and watched exactly one Koontz novel and film, and it's Odd Thomas, and I'm never not going to bring it up around Koontz. And RIP Anton Yelchin.)

#NowWatching rewatching Fright Night (2011). It’s true that this is no where near as good as the original, but I love it all the same. It has actually become a comfort movie for me over the years. #MutantFam #HorrorCommnity #Horror
