Been using ipfire on Hetzner for some time. It’s a great basic firewall and easy to set up and configure.

I actually started with it in Docker on my main server, but switched it to bare metal on a Mini that I had bought expressly for that purpose (and then used as a test server instead). Never tell your spouse why you are buying gear lest they question you later...
