Yeah, I think more small businesses should stop coddling customers who refuse to make even the most basic attempt to find and consume information. (Of course the downside is negative reviews from the people who feel attacked.)

It's what the sign says to do. The same expertise and professional judgement that decided the bike lane should be closed also determined that merging into the 6-lane road is the correct alternative for cyclists.
