I'm a doctor and a dad. I rebuilt Detroit's health department, led Wayne County's Department of Health, Human and Veterans Services. We put glasses on kids, took on corporate polluters, eliminated medical debt. It just shouldn't be this hard to get by in the richest country in the world.

I am ravenous but it is far too late to eat anything, let alone what I really want to eat (some enormous fat and protein bomb like a side of beef or similar) (had to liquid-fast all day yesterday and have only had some toast today so you understand how the lizard brain is struggling to take over)
