Yes but most of my riding is on rural roads in the most dangerous county in CA. When I ride down into town or don’t need the safety I flip it up to vertical. It’s super easy to reach on my bike. It’s mainly to use near the kids school so drivers don’t pass over double yellow on blind corners.
