The thing about AI is that we are training LLMs to give us what we want. For some areas, this is terrifying. The very concept of a “fact” is slipping away as groups are even moving away from “ground truth” validation.

Sure there could be a thing with a world model with current tech, the problem is getting there. We'll have the bits in right order some day, but I don't see how it's currently solvable. LLMs are more like an accidental discovery but they still just operate on the surface level of language.
