I very likely am overreacting but also absolutely know that - like the general public - library workers will be given an illusion of choice about implementing AI in every aspect of library life. The phrase "shoved down our throats" is a common descriptor bc it is true on all levels.

There is a chunk of library workers who are 1. Very Enthused about AI 2. always go along with all new tech bc of fear of not going along with all new tech 3. Will shame fellow library workers for even being skeptical of framing of training to include new tech.
