They definitely exist. but I'm pretty sure they're relegated to the higher rarities. Mabel is among the worst. But I can see the developers deciding that Outlaws was too much for unique designs and not wanting to get too fancy with oft seen doubles in every pack.

Not best as in broken, just as interpretations of the characters. So it's kind of a shame that Dark Mable is pure limited utility creature. But at least she appears good in that role.

Maro had said no color shift mechanics. My observation is: Digestible. A lot going on, especially with Empower Jace, so many other cards are easy to understand. First and foremost cards the set needs, not to be the best interpretations of the characters.
