I guess thats yet another point for not doing Boolean for the first stage retrieval because it's too dangerous to add too many wrong terms. Ranked retrieval for bm25 (+ more powerful rerankers) blunts this problem a bit. But yes, I know the reason why evidence synthesis prefers boolean retrieval
