Nice!! The Helix is kinda rare but I don't think in the "rare and expensive" part yet of old hardware. I did have to replace several pieces on mine through the years but it isn't too hard to work on for a tablet/hybrid. I found mine on Ebay in 2018 or 2019 and I've seen a few occasionally there.

I can't get it to boot off any of the install media I've made. I then set up a TFTP server and it boots but the install fails. The only thing I can think of is putting in a proper IDE drive as currently mine is running a 40GB SATA SSD with a SATA to IDE bridge. I mean it see is but who knows?

I replaced mine and rebuilt the MAC address. It's worth noting that it isn't a Dallas battery - which I initially believed it to be. I tried modding the one that was in there to work with a CR2032 but I don't think I did it right. I ended up buying a "new" one... It's working for the moment
