I was the first woman in the design department at BioWare. It was very hard and lonely for a few years, then it was hard but wonderful, then it was very hard again but with amazing compatriots. I was there for 17 years.

I’m a bit saddened to see the tired old reaction “all the talent left at this company so it’s alright if it got closed” here on bsky. First l, you don’t know that. Second, that’s pretty damn demeaning. Third, even if that was the case, it’s still livelihoods that are being impacted by this move.
