A lot to unpack here. But one crucial thread is that when given a “second chance,” a lot of abusers will seek to deepen their capacity to abuse. We have fundamentally failed to create effective systems of accountability. Abusers get to choose what happens to them and they choose radicalization.

I meant to post this when I took the photo a few days ago but was overwhelmed with life - I love the way winter & early spring sunsets look in BZN. They only last a few minutes (I ran out to capture this one because I could just tell it was one of THOSE sunsets because of how my living room looked).

My two icons: That Sony phone was so cool and great for fidgeting, until I swiveled it in half on spring break Also the Pantech Duo that could slide vertically for a number pad or horizontally for a full qwerty keyboard. Make phones interesting again!
