Vim motions, the vim language, its grammar, if you edit or write text (coder, writer, etc.) 8 hours a day, you probably need to learn it, as you did with touch typing. I'm mainly using it for writing, but also in the terminal, my email client, and everywhere else.

Reviews get valuable when they tie spend to outcome, not just features. A lot of stack waste is coordination cost wearing a software costume. Duplicate systems and rework quietly outrun the sticker price.
