DF: "I wanted to win. Boys as well. Disappointed. Have to say it says a lot about what we have done to feel like that against Man Utd. We were dominant side. Not necessary being behind at break. Good equaliser. Problem was too many strikes over crossbar." #lufc

DF: "Only criticism is our finishing. We have not allowed anything second half. Compliments to players for another dominant performance. More quality in final third, could have won it." #lufc

DF on players in the occasion: "Always a special game. Just human beings. Cannot take this away. Want them to play with intensity and sometimes make mistakes, rather than being too cool and relaxed." #lufc

DF: "Physicality we had last season. If you compare their individual quality in attack with what we have, including the benches, there is a gap. There is a reason why their attackers cost so much money. We have to be better in other areas to compete with this. We have honest, committed players."
