An immigration lawyer told me in 2020 the immigration system could not handle another 4 years of Trump. He was exactly right.
Show PostI can't imagine not specializing in immigration law and trying to do just a few cases right now. But with everything going on that also means the need for immigration pro bono is so much higher than normal.
Show PostImmigration law is crazy right now. I file a perfectly good case and by the time it gets to the finish line USCIS has changed the rules (and not even "officially" changed them--no notice and comment and often not even an announcement) so that the perfectly good case is not so perfect any more.
