Show PostI enjoyed Who dares Wins as audio book a lot, it’s read by dominic himself, sometimes in thatcher voice 👍, pretty long though. Magnificent Rebels I loved as well, read it, but audiobook is excellent.
Show PostThe Beauty and the Sorrow: An Intimate History of the First World War. Swedish historian, Peter Englund, has an amazing way of explaining history trough stories of normal people’s everyday life. And living in Belgium it is good to know the history of WWI. :-)
