A huge thank you to Jack @thelondonarchives.bsky.social for giving my summer school students such a fantastic education session this afternoon. Some of them voted it the best thing they've done in London so far. Gotta teach them to love archives from a young age!

A happy coincidence after visiting @thelondonarchives.bsky.social was just around the corner walking past a bar named after Marian Anderson. Really hit home that this friend to the @uaw.org was an icon on a global scale.

Deep gratitude to the archivists at @thelondonarchives.bsky.social who tracked down documents for me based on an obsolete reference in a 100y/o book - it was particularly satisfying and evocative to see the “deed of the king’s grant by his green seal” described in a now-lost C15th church inventory 📜

Made a brief visit to @thelondonarchives.bsky.social today & delighted to encounter a secondary #school visit to the #archives + another school group on the tube alighting at Leicester Square. So great to see animated & excited kids on school outings. #schooltrips #heritage #culture #education
