Yuuuup it is truly soul-crushing to check out a new site like this, search intersex, and like 75% of the results are porn. I'm so fucking sick of the word being used for bigenital. I just want to find and connect with other intersex people, not be viscerally reminded of how intersexist the world is.

I'm not even intersex, and I was sick of these terms because as a trans woman, it's annoying when cishets create female characters with male genetalia and call them "intersex" or the other two slurs you described, and I fucking hate it.

the way intersex has been degraded into a porn term is honestly so infuriating and sickening... intersexism is so rampant and yet invisible thank you for the alternative terminology, by the way! very appreciated to have an idea of what terms to use for characters like this
