Now I'm back and doing so much better than when I left. I think sometimes we don't realize how burned out we are until we look behind us. But I love books and publishing again, when if I'd powered through and forced myself, I'd probably be a mess right now and not thriving. #kidlitchat

I spent the weekend reading through my @reviseresub.bsky.social #RevPit #10Queries submissions. I had planned to space them out, but they were all so good that I gobbled them up in one sitting. Can't wait to share the feedback next Friday, the 23rd!

The best advice I can give writers at any stage of the process is to find your community, whether it be online, in person, or a combination. Find the people who will buoy you when you feel like you’re drowning and who’ll cheer you on in your successes—and then do the same for them.
