Is it an issue of having a spine or not? I think Dems who are silent (or who adopt right-wing talking points, like Talarico) genuinely do not want trans people to be equal. Same deal with supporting Israel (Schumer, Jeffries, Booker, Buttigieg, etc.). They're not spineless - just amoral reprobates.

This is misleading. A and B aren't the same. Multnomah County changed how they count in that time period and their new methodology is much more accurate and higher as a result. The point in time methodology is a significant undercount.

I watched Florida taken apart by corrupt rightwing governors who destroyed so much. Oregon might not be perfect, but it has a functional government that has preserved many human rights other states have lost. Please don't take that for granted-- reelect Kotek as governor. Hold fast.
