I mean I’m very partial to self-deprecating humour, but like, the difference is its HUMOUR, and I draw the line before literal slurs, a lot of these weirdo cis girls aren’t being ironic, they’re genuinely trying to appeal to men who view them as nothing more than meat, and otherwise despise them.

like theres some types of “pick me’s” where I can at least understand the rationalisation, even though I hate it (naive tradwife fantasies for example), but then theres belittling yourself by adopting a slur for a demographic that see’s you as fundamentally less than a person, its so gross.
