Absolutely WILD update to this. Got a call from a random number a few hours ago that turns out to be a couple in Idaho, who got my number from a bill inside one of my missing boxes that have been in their garage for months. The movers misdelivered them to them and then refused to take them back

Honestly it feels like the unspoken "cheat code" of this article is that drivers shouldn't bother looking for pedestrians. Don't risk making accidental eye contact and it'll be the pedestrian's fault for not being more patient whilst you blow through a crosswalk
