I'm currently playing part 2 on stream and there he absolutely risked to hurt her ... because the cheaper option came with a free lollipop for him I was so disgusted and couldn't justify it anymore as just "haha, it's just a game bro" but as toxic behavior to all of him and especially to his 'love'

What Rufus does in the Deponia Saga is like the mid stage before Femicide: gaslighting/manipulating, not accepting a no, thinking she is his trophy ... about his supposed love. Back then I thought it was a bit over the top of "normal" 'you have to fight for your love" ...

He is such a lovely guy. I saw him a few months ago out with each of our families at a local children's museum, could not be nicer away from the field as well as professionally.
