I think players are so competitive they'll happily spend 40 minutes going through defensive setup against every dead ball from their last game if they believe it will help them win. Pretty sure the meetings have already got much longer than when I was at Coventry in 2016 where it was max 15 mins.

The panel(?)council(?) turned their chairs looked at me and then answered my question, respectfully, but still shocked. Now all the subsequent PhD candidates I have known have invited me to come to their defence and kick off the question round with my best attempt at asking a question.

The first one to defend their PhD invited me to their defence as a kind gesture.They opened the floor to questions (intended for fellow PhDs) I immediately raised my hand and asked the stupidest softball question.
