Trump: "Zelenskyy is not helping matters much. I think he doesn't want to stop the war." FACT CHECK: Ukraine and Zelenskyy personally agreed to an unconditional ceasefire proposed by Trump in March 2025. Russia did not.
Show PostZelenskyy explicitly proposed a cease-fire on energy infrastructure multiple times. Russia rejected it. Zelenskyy also pushed for a mutual ban on long-range strikes. Russia rejected that as well. The only thing Zelenskyy has refused to do is surrender or cease resisting Russian aggression.
