Apple dropped the Simulator app from Xcode 27; Device Hub runs the sims now. On my Mac with Xcode 27 alone, nothing else opens when I quit Device Hub, and open -Ra Simulator says it can't find the app. Run that on yours: if Finder reveals a copy, that leftover copy is the one relaunching.

So this happened yesterday. For some unknown reason (I attribute it to some kind of clerical error), I was awarded "Developer of the Year" at the Developers Day gala here in Stockholm. It was a super fun evening.

Good lord we got hit with the “only approved for at risk groups” line while trying to get a COVID booster. Friendly reminder that being overweight makes you qualify for it (my BMI is finally leading to positive health outcomes).
